Every 5 years, we publish a new strategic plan for our parish, and I’m proud to announce that our new plan is now on the website for your review. This plan is an important way to keep us looking forward, finding new ways to grow in Christ and addressing any areas where we could stand to improve. Among other things, our previous strategic plan led to the narthex expansion and the creation of our St. Vincent de Paul conference, which have both had a dramatic impact on our parish.
The planning process began more than a year ago with our Parish Survey, through which so many of you gave us valuable feedback on your perceptions of our parish life. From there, the Pastoral Council and Pastoral Team analyzed the survey responses, as well as other data and observations about our parish life, in order to determine the most pressing needs/goals for five areas of parish life: Worship & Liturgy, Faith Formation, Outreach & Evangelization, Community & Hospitality and Resource Stewardship. I hope all of you will take some time to read this plan so that you can better understand how our parish is seeking to strengthen our community as we all journey together to heaven. I am deeply indebted to the members of the Pastoral Council (Julie Carlin, Susan Dampeer, Cindy Esch, Corinne Gries, Geoffroy Honnon, Christine Kelley, Larry Loebach, Aimée Matthews, Steve Neeser, Doug Rodick, Jenny Staud, Christine Weiler) and Pastoral Team (Fr. Cameron Cortens, Lindsey Barrett, Rianna Doyle, Teresa Oross, Jennifer Snyder, Amy Tatay) who have worked diligently over the past two years to create this plan, and who will continue to work diligently in order to implement its goals. Please continue to pray for the leadership of our parish, so that we may always grow in our faithfulness as disciples of Christ.
