We’ve already reported out on the first three sections of our Parish Survey results — Worship & Liturgy, Faith Formation and Outreach & Evangelization — so this week we’ll report out on the next section, Community & Hospitality, which deals with our social and community-building events, as well as how well we welcome visitors and new parishioners. Here is how you responded to our quantitative questions on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best:
· Christ the King is a welcoming parish community. 4.20
· Christ the King offers plenty of social events that help me interact with my fellow parishioners. 4.05
· I am aware of our sister parish relationship. 4.21
When respondents were asked why they haven’t participated in these types of events, here were the responses that were given most frequently (by 5 or more respondents):
· 11 people said they didn’t have time
· 11 people said they weren’t interested
· 6 people indicated that they weren’t comfortable attending, particularly if they were coming alone
In our free-form comments section, only one comment was offered by more than 5 people:
· 6 people said that we did a good job overall here
Thanks again for taking the time to give this feedback.
