Not even sure where to start this column. As I come to the end of 10 years as Pastor (and 13 years total) here at Christ the King, I primarily just want to express my enormous gratitude, first of all to God, for calling me to the priesthood and in His Divine Providence placing me at Christ the King. And I’m also grateful to all of the incredible parishioners, students and staff whom I have the privilege of serving over these many years. This parish has formed me into the priest and pastor that I am today, and you all have helped strengthen my faith in ways that I can’t even express.
Just know that I’ve gone to bed each night for the past 10 years thanking God for being able to serve as your pastor. Christ the King will always have a special place in my heart, and you’ll be in my daily prayers from now on.
