IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE EXISTING CHURCH VESTIBULE
You have probably noticed that, immediately after Easter, our general contractor closed off more than half of our existing vestibule. Normally I like to give you as much advance notice as I can, but that wasn’t possible this time, so I’m sorry for any inconvenience. Here are the basics of what you need to know:
· We don’t have a firm timeline for how long this area will be closed; right now I’m guessing April and May, but that’s subject to change.
· The following areas are inaccessible for the next several weeks
· The south end of the vestibule
· The south staircase from the vestibule to the basement
· The confessionals
· The south staircase into the Choir Loft
· The Bride’s Room and the bathrooms will be OPEN during this time
· At a later date, they’ll start working on that section of the vestibule, but hopefully I’ll be able to give you more notice for that phase of the project
· Confessions will still take place every Saturday from 9am to 10am, just like usual
· Confessions will take place in the Cry Room and the Holy Cross Chapel
· The Choir Loft will remain open. Choir members will access it through the north vestibule door.
I know this will add to the inconvenience of construction, but it will all be worth it when we finally have our beautiful new vestibule (tentatively scheduled for August, although there are still a few things out there that could affect our timeline).
