This column is the final report on the results of our Parish Survey. The final section of our survey, Resource Stewardship, dealt with things like our clergy, staff, finances and facilities. Here are your answers to the quantitative question from this section:
· The clergy at Christ the King are accessible and responsive to my needs. 4.69
· The pastoral staff at Christ the King are accessible and responsive to my needs. 4.57
· Christ the King is transparent with its finances. 4.50
· Christ the King has an appropriate amount of fundraising. 4.41
· I know where meeting rooms and other facilities are located on the campus. 3.94
· There is adequate signage for exits, the elevator, meeting rooms, and gathering spaces. 4.16
· Our facilities are well-maintained and adequately support parish ministry. 4.52
Here are the free-form comments made by 5 or more parishioners:
· 8 people said they weren’t sure where various rooms are located
· 7 people are looking forward to the new vestibule
· 6 people made positive comments about the staff, while 4 made negative comments
Our next step will be to take the survey results and incorporate them into our strategic planning process.
Our Pastoral Council is working with me and my Pastoral Team to summarize our current strengths and weaknesses, and your survey responses will play a big role in this analysis, so thanks so much to all of you who took the time to offer your feedback.
